HOW IT WORKS - Useful tips for Ötztal Card Holders

Mountain Gondolas and Lifts

With the Ötztal Card you can go through the turnstiles of the mountain lifts without inserting the card. No queuing at the ticket offices!

Please note that every mountain gondola and lift can be used only once per day!

Bus

Ötztal Card holders enjoy free use of all public bus lines between Haiming and Gurgl. The hiking shuttles of Umhausen-Niederthai and Längenfeld-Gries are also included.

The free hut taxi service is available for Ötztal Card holders only on certain days. Booking required one day before - at the Ötztal Tourismus selling points!

Aqua Dome Therme Längenfeld

One 3-hour admission to the Aqua Dome Spa Center is included only in 7 or 10-day cards.

Area 47 - the ult imate playground

One admission to the Area 47 (swimming lake, giant water slides and diving platform) is included only in 7 or 10-day cards.

Bicycle Rental

The bicycles have to be returned every day. Further rental information:

3-day card: 1 day bicycle rental
7-day card: 2 days bicycle rental
10-day card: 3 days bicycle rental

Loss or Damaged Card

No refund in case of loss
If your card is damaged you get a new card at one of the selling points (on presentation of the damaged card)

Further Important Information

No refund of the key card in case of technical breakdown or unforeseen non-operation of services
Prices remain the same even if the mountain lifts close earlier
The card must be used up within the next 3, 7 or 10 days (depending on validity)
The card can be purchased only in cash at the Ötztal Tourismus selling points
Handle the Ötztal Card with care like your credit or EC card
The Ötztal Card is no parking voucher
Disabled persons (70%) receive discounts on presentation of a disabled pass: adults pay the child rate, children get a 50% discount
