NIEDERTHAI CLIMBING GARDEN

The idyllic granite rocks, located in the Tauferberg area, offer everything a passionate climber's heart could possibly desire. Experts can choose from no less than 11 climbing boulders in the immediate surroundings. Therefore the Tauferberg area is not suitable for novice climbers and beginners as most of the routes receive an 8 according to the French grading system.

Getting there
In Umhausen (at the height of the car dealer); after approx. 100 m you take the rising road to Niederthai (past the swimming lake); after 5 min. you reach the last sharp turn before you get to the Stuibanfall vantage point.

Parking
Last sharp turn (before reaching Stuibanfall vantage point); leave the car in a space-saving way.

To the rocks
Along the hiking trail towards Wiesle; after 20 min. you reach the 1st granite rocks.
