AMBERGERHUETTE CLIMBING GARDEN
All those who prefer to enjoy a quite extensive hike across high Alpine regions, followed by a really memorable climbing experience, are warmly recommended to head for the wonderful Climbing Garden in immediate vicinity to the Amberger Mountain Hut. The Alpine rock formations (perfectly secured) provide stunning views of the huge Sulztaler Glacier, surrounded by countless peaks higher than 3,000 meters - among them the renowned Schrankogel summit which can be admired from the quaint Ambergerhütte mountain inn (10 minutes walking distance). Have a look at the fantastic panorama while enjoying a glass of fresh milk.
Getting there
Via Längenfeld to the hamlet of Gries located approx. 500 m above Längenfeld.
Parking
At the end of the village you find a big car park next to the meadows.
To the rocks
Along the hiking trail between the Vordere Sulztalalm and the Hintere Sulztalalm; the climbing garden is located on the left, right above the hunter's hut.
