I have a dream - Ready, steady, go for the passes! The Ötztaler Cycle Marathon on 29th August '10 with start and finish in Sölden /Tirol marks the highlight of the cycling season for hobby cyclists from all over the world. Some 4000 participants will take part in the race.

SUMMER MOUNTAIN LIFTS IN OPERATION

bild As the Gaislachkogl mountain gondola will be completely reconstructed during summer 2010 (19 Jun – 26 Sep 10) hikers are invited to take the 8-person Giggijoch mountain gondola which is in operation all summer. You enjoy an effortless gondola ride from 1350m up to 2284m above sea level.

On the gondola's top terminal you find "Wirtshaus Giggijoch", a mountain inn with huge sunbathing terrace and children's playground. It is open daily and easily accessible for everyone.

Operating Times of Giggijoch Mountain Gondola:
19 Jun – 26 Sep 10: daily 09.00 am - 4.00 pm
03 Jul – 29 Aug 10: daily until 5.00 pm

In the near future the scenic Gaislachkogl peak will be accessible by two of Austria's most spectacular mountain gondolas when it comes to architectural an technical features. From the coming winter season 2010/2011, the new Gaislachkogl mountain gondola will be in operation! .
