HOHER STEIN & TAUFERBERG LOOP TRAIL

Discover mystic gorges and crevasses, get an insight into mighty granite rocks, and admire scenic Tauferbergwald forest.

Starting point: from Niederthai sports field (car park) you walk along the road until you reach the fork-off to "Tauferbergrundgang" (left). Follow the forest trail for approx. 20 minutes to the next fork-off (right: Wolfsegg lift; left: Hoher Stein / Tauferberg loop trail). Then turn into the left forest trail leading towards "Hoher Stein". Proceeding on a narrow walking path, across Tauferberg forest, you reach the mighty granite blocks.
